Goals
Uphold the mission of the Oncology Nursing Society
Promote the professional standards of the Oncology Nursing Society
Increase the number of educational programs to include to the membership
of Two Rivers Chapter as well as the local community of nurses and nursing
students
Increase interest in ONS among area oncology nurses by offering meetings
in the outlining areas
Send President to ONS Congress; send a board member to Leadership Congress
Provide communication through local chapter web site and newsletter
Community education to continue in our community
Increase awareness of oncology nursing in the community by having a visible
presence at Race for the Cure, Relay for Life and activities during Oncology
Nursing week
Increase membership by 5%
Continue to develop mentorship program
Increase interest among area nursing students by contacting area nursing
schools inviting student to programs and meetings
Support political activism of the chapter by having appointed members
to be aware of issues
Support certification by sponsoring a recognition dinner for OCN's |
